PC Software
Several of our users have recommended using Screen Print & Capture 32. It's free to use and can be downloaded here.

The only requirement for someone to view a presentation is to click on a link to visit a webpage. There are no logins, account creation, software download, or browser plugins required. You will see the link for a presentation via the "Share" tab on both the Dashboard and Presentation Admin.

Black Tonic generates a custom, unique, simple URL of random alphanumeric characters for each presentation. The only way an individual could access the presentation is via this link which is distributed by you, the presenter. And, remember, the content displayed on the URL is controlled by the presenter in real time - it won't remain unless you choose to put your presentation in "Review".

So, just copy and paste the URL of the presentation and deliver it to your clients for a simple, efficient way to get everyone on the same page.

We know, this one is a pain. Currently you must upload images one at a time. (For faster uploading and downloading, we recommend taking screenshots of your images.) Browsers make this tricky - we're currently prototyping methods that work without flash or other plugins, but they're not quite ready to go yet. We'll let you know!

You cannot directly upload these types of files to Black Tonic (yet). But with most of these programs you are able to save or export your slides as images. Once you do that, uploading to Black Tonic is a snap.

For the quickest workflow, we always recommend taking screenshots of you images/work and then uploading. This way you can avoid tedious export, sizing, and format issues. Your client will view all the images at screen resolution. And Black Tonic will make sure the image displays optimally within the client's browser.

There are 3 display settings for presentations: broadcast, review, and lock.

If you wish make your presentation accessible after you have presentation, you may set the display to "Review" from the Dashboard. This will generate a list of all slides on the Presentation Link page that can be accessed at any time.

If you don't want anyone to access the presentation, set it to "Lock".
