Once you create your account, you can use Black Tonic for 14 days without your credit card being charged. You may cancel at any time during the 14-day period. If you wish to continue using Black Tonic there is nothing more to do. Your credit card will automatically be charged every 30 days.
Black Tonic runs on an internet browser, so it works across the PC, Macintosh, and Linux platforms. It requires only html and javascript - there are no additional plugins, software, or java-applets required. Internet Browsers we currently support:
Web-Based Software is accessed over the internet via a web browser. You don’t have to use installation CD's, download any software, or worry about upgrades. When new features, fixes, and improvements are released, you get access to them automatically. We also manage, backup and secure all your data so you don't have to (read more about security). Online banking or email programs like Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo Mail are all web-based. Chances are you use web-based software all the time.
At this time we do not offer any other plans. Soon! Hopefully very soon. Future plans will offer accounts with multiple users and additional features. If you are currently interested in using Black Tonic for your large firm or agency, we can offer enterprise solutions that may involve white labeling. Just get in touch!
Your data is physically stored within our server data center: regular daily data backups, backup power, cooling and fire suppression, armed & biometric security, and raised floors. So odds are your data is more protected on our computers than yours at home. (Just saying...)
Black Tonic does not support audio or video, which is part of the reason it's so flexible across platforms and browsers and requires no plugins or flash.
